No live buses to check against? This places a synthetic bus marker using the exact same code real buses use, at a point already confirmed accurate. If it lands exactly on the named pin/spot, bus coordinates will render just as accurately — same pipeline, same math.

About the stops and lines shown

Each dot is a real bus stop for that service, verified against official DfT NaPTAN data — precise locations, colour-matched to the service. All 7 routes now have real, confirmed visiting order (from BODS timetable data or TransXChange journey patterns), so all 7 show connecting lines, drawn as straight segments between real stops, not road-snapped. Four routes (37, 60, 71, 72) genuinely loop back to their own starting point; the other three (21, 61, 64) are point-to-point and don't. Operating days are confirmed for all 7 routes — 64 (Mon-Fri only) was checked directly against a real source after our own data left it ambiguous. Each service is checked automatically against today's date and England bank holidays.
